troubleshooting

d1 - when things go wrong
- the installer never sees the device
- use chrome, or firefox with the webserial extension. if the installer still misses it, try a different usb-c cable.
- the phone will not pair
- on the device, open settings, then bluetooth, then make discoverable. for a device that pairs but does not connect, forget it there and pair again.
- an app wants a setting
- calendar needs a feed url. home assistant needs your instance address and a token. weather needs a location. open that app's settings screen in the companion app.
