u4 - already running bridgething
how to update
the companion app
installs updates automatically when connected
in the browser
faster than bluetooth if you are having issues with companion ota
chromium only
j2 - if it goes wrong
- the usb port is flaky
- try different cables, usb ports, usb hubs, no usb hubs, computers, whatever. the thing is picky.
- this thing is literally impossible to brick
- burn mode lives in rom. holding buttons 1 & 4 on boot always gets you to maskrom.
- updates roll back
- the image lands in the slot you are not booted from. a failed update boots the old one.
